The Professorship for Ancient History (Professor Dr. Oliver Stoll) is looking to fill the position of a
Research Assistant (m/f/d)
from January 15, 2025, with half of the regular weekly working hours, for a limited period of three months. An extension is not possible.
Your Task
- Participation in the application or the preparation of a third-party funding application (DFG)
- Research and editorial work on the final version of the application
Requirements
- Very good university degree (at least Bachelor's or Master's, choice of topic must be from ancient history)
- Ideally, you already have experience in supervised collaboration in applications for third-party funding (DFG or similar).
- Good historical overview knowledge, clear focus on ancient history
- Knowledge of Latin, Greek and two modern foreign languages
